Off the Hook Arts Festival
Now in its tenth year, the Off the Hook Arts Festival, founded by executive director Jephta Bernstein and artistic director Bruce Adolphe, presents unique and diverse events through the performance of classical music, jazz, and world music in collaboration with scientists, visual artists, poets, authors, filmmakers, and creative thinkers in many fields. Every OtH Arts season, Bruce Adolphe designs the festival around a theme that encompasses the arts and sciences. For 2022, the theme is Dreaming and Thinking. The theme for 2018 was Perception, Deception, Illusion, Confusion and the festival brought together musicians, a magician, a comedy writer, neuroscientists, psychologists, two photographers, and a painter. Past themes have included: Climate Change; Human Rights; and Creativity. The festival is based in Fort Collins Colorado, with events in both Fort Collins and Boulder.
